I just upgraded my search to a spider/php solution. Google's free engine (via their AJAX Search API) was awesome for pages in their index; however, getting Google to crawl my entire site was like watching paint dry. Also, I wanted to index and score my own results, and have control on the search display. So, I'm crawlin' my own.

I put an emphasis on visual results, since my site is primarily a photo blog. Hope you find what you're looking for!
